​He started his amateur sports career as a football player in 1996. Later, between 2001 and 2009, he was professionally interested in off-road sports, worked in the mechatronics and R&D field of off-road vehicles, and participated in more than 50 races. He has been professionally focused on practical shooting since 2015. He was the founding president of the International Dynamic and Practical Shooting Sports Club Association. He has won more than 100 awards, including one European and two Turkish championships, in national and international competitions held in Turkey, Italy, Lithuania, Moldova, Bulgaria, Serbia and Hungary. Since 2019, he has started to research and apply modern training and personalized training methods in the field of practical shooting. He introduced the training method known as the Ceylan Method into the literature. He wrote the first scientific article examining IDPA stages in the world and the first scientific article in the field of practical shooting in Turkey. He is the author of The Shooting Guide (Pratik Atıcılık Rehberi). He still continues his training, R&D and consultancy work in the field of shooting.
